Physical Fitness:
Physical Fitness is a state of physical
well-being in which a individual is physically fit to perform his/her daily
activities without restrictions. Good physical Fitness means that, our ears can
normally hear, our eyes have normal vision, our legs can walk, jump, run, and
perform many other normal activities without problems.
By maintaining good physical fitness, we become more self-reliant and
are better prepared to progress personally, strengthen the family, and serve in
the community.

1. Physical Activity:
The human body was made to be physically active. Specific exercises are designed to improve strength, flexibility,
balance, and aerobic capacity. But every exercise must be tailored to meet a
person’s individual requirements, such as age. Where weight bearing is a
problem, water exercises are helpful. Chair and desk exercises are useful for
those who spend long hours in a sitting position. Exercise and using
the body is important to maintaining your health.

foods from each of six food groups:
Grains, Vegetables, Fruits, Milk Products,

3. Alcohol & Drug Abuse:
The use and misuse of alcohol and other drugs is one of the more
controversial issues in our society, and often a source of conflict between
generations and between sections of society
People drink to socialize, celebrate, and
relax. Alcohol often has a strong effect on people—and throughout history,
people have struggled to understand and manage alcohol’s power.
Alcohol’s
effects vary from person to person, depending on a variety of factors,
including:
How much you drink? How often you drink? Your age! Your health status! Your family history!
4. Sleep & Rest:
Sleep and rest plays a vital role in good health and
well-being throughout your life. Getting enough quality sleep at the right
times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life,
and safety. Sleep helps your brain work properly. While you're sleeping,
your brain is preparing for the next day. It's forming new pathways to help you
learn and remember information.
Lack of adequate rest has become a significant health problem for many
people. The brain and body need sufficient, regular sleep to recover from the
stresses of each day and to bring order to mind and body functions.
